Tempting sweet chilli covered peanuts! Advantages: Everything! Disadvantages: None ...shop and i seen the Nobby's Nuts in sweet chilli flavour and decided to buy them instead. I am glad i did because they turned out to be the nicest type that i have ever tried! My favourite thing about them other than how nice they taste is something that i only just noticed. The packet has a piece of sticky tape across it. This means when you are not eating them you can easily fold the packet over and seal it shut. I like that and think it is a very ... ...overall design that was used for the packaging. The plastic used for it makes it nice and shiny. It is very cool and the bright red really stands out next to the black. It has a cool flame effect rising up from the bottom. The only thing that i didn't overly like was how hard it was to open them. I ended up needing scissors to open them but other than that i have nothing but good things to say about them. Rabbit Droppings All round! Advantages: Taste and Quality Disadvantages: none Sun-Maid Raisins..... Jack does like to eat just like his mother and therefore I have tried to find healthier snacks that can be eaten on the go. These Sun-Maid Raisins are a brilliant snack for both the little man and myself. The Raisins are available in lots of different ways, there is the large packet where all the raisins are held within one pack, a large tub with easy to seal lid, smaller boxes that are still of a good size and then the smallest ... ...out and about. The Sun-Maid raisins are far better than other brands of raisins available in my opinion. This is because the Sun-Maid Raisins are far bigger and juicer than say shops own brand. You are less likely to get bits of twig like parts still attached to the raisins from Sun-Maid than shops own brand although on occasion I have found some twiggy bits in a Sun-Maid box. A Walk on the Wild Snack Side Advantages: Tastilicious Disadvantages: Deceptively bad for you ...in on my secret... Holland and Barrett is the source I usually turn to, mainly because they're the only high street chain - supermarkets included - where they're reliably stocked. They're also marginally cheaper than most places with 100g setting you back about £1.10 or, if you're a glutton like me, you can get 500g for £3.60! Rice crackers are pretty tricky to describe because they don't bear much relation to any other food available over here, ... ...which comes mixed in the Holland & Barrett packet: 1- Square crackers, made of rice and wheat flour. They're quite hard but when you crunch them between your teeth grind down into a more powdery substance. Saved from being dry and unpleasant by a tasty glaze which tastes like sugar and (I guess by their salty edge and its inclusion on the ingredient list) soy sauce. Tasty for kids instead of sweets etc Advantages: Great for babies/toddlers Disadvantages: They are not organic Our baby was given one of these in a first birthday goody bag and she loved it and munched the whole thing. Each humzinger is dried fruit with a little flour added to stop it going sticky (like adding flour to a board when you are rolling pastry). They come in groovy little coloured metalic wrappers which enable you to take just one or two out with you and your little one to have as a snack. I guess the packaging should be minimalised though, although ... ...don't want to eat them all at once. Maybe a pack containing them all with an airtight seal and you have to keep them in the fridge or something. Anyway, initially, my baby only liked the dark ones, the cherry, the blackcurrant and the strawberry. I wished at that point that they sold whole packets of the cherry one! We persevered though and now it's hard to tell which is her favourite as she munches them all.
