    The Dreaded Monthly Shop It was the end of November. It was also a Sunday. Our friend Linzi found herself off work and desperate to avoid doing housework so asked if she could come shopping with me and my partner Allan. We gladly agreed. We also decided while shopping that since Linzi was staying for tea afterwards, we would pick up some treats.     Me and my mum are huge fans of tea and coffee , and we both have cupboards bulging with different varieties . So, when we spotted Drink Me Chai on sale in Tesco , we snapped up a pack to try . This is a Chai Latte - according the the packet a mixture of sweetened tea, skimmed milk, and exotic spices. There is also a vanilla variety, which naturally has vanilla as well as the spices . Chai as a drink originates in india , and unlike many of the trendy coffee varieties, it just doesn't seem to have hit the big time in the UK coffee bar and restaurant scene yet .     NOTE: Whilst the picture for this product is the large pot, it states nowhere that this is what must be reviewed. Therefore I am reviewing the SACHET SIZE of the product instead. It still contains the same drink. After a long day working at a nursery and suffering from a bad cold that just won't go away, I decided I would take a trip to Tesco to get some really nice hot chocolate and a cake or something to relax with that night.     I love this Drink Me Spiced Chai Latte and have none left. I did not buy it. My Mum had some at her house and I had some there, every time I was over, now it is empty. Still, I wanted it to be empty, so that I could write a review and tell everyone all about it. Now I wish it wasn`t empty, I will have to go out and buy some.     Advantages Advantages Incredibly easy to make up, you don't need to add milk and it has a lovely flavour.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The last mouthful has 'grainy' particles in, which is probable the cinammon.

    I love this drink - I received a free sample ages ago (in fact, there were 2 sachets, which was pretty generous for a free sample) and when I tried it I found it really delicious. I remember not having any preconceived ideas, then when I took my first sip and had a taste explosion I was surprised, and delighted. I have been buying this as a treat, and as an alternative to regular tea & coffee, ever since. Taste: Sweet, spicy and a little creamy - you need to enjoy flavours like cinammon to enjoy this drink.
