The games latest installation the driver 3 on the play station 2 console is not the type of game that I played in the play station 1 console. Although there are some additional features in the play station 2 version, the game doesn't seem to project the play station 1 action scene we used to know or rather play.

THE GAME STORY.

Well as a teenager, I found it difficult to follow the story up, well whom will you blame about that. As teenagers, we just get a bit of the games story and then follow up the action excitations of the remaining part of the game. From what is being told by the creators, although the game's story is a bit difficult to follow up but I can narrate some part of the story. As the nature of the game may be, you have the fate of an undercover policeman whose name is tanner and fights crime in disguise.

But one confusing aspect of the game is the cut scene, which needs some thorough investigation for you to understand and in most cases, you might not even catch up with the message concerning the cut scene well that's not my dilemma in the game, lets get on with the narrations on the game.

I will have to say that the game is some how the cousin brother of grand theft auto. There are some similarities between both. They have some similarities with each other but in contraction, the driver is developed more on driving and bringing down the baddies but the GTA is more on moving with legs, driving and even flying in some versions. Also in GTA, you have the choice of not entering into a moving vehicle.

There is some hidden character that I find difficult to know his mission objective and the name is Dubois. Well no body can tell if Dubois is out there for good or for bad.

THE GAME PLAY.

The game title with simple calculations, tells that you spend 65 to 75% of the game on wheels. You get in counter with all sought of cars. Well in my own opinion, some car companies must have seized the privilege to project some of their car models. There is some other thing that I have observed in the driver series and that is lack of characterization. Right from the first driver installation, I have noticed that the game does not have recognized characters including costumes, facial recognition and so on. Rather they move along with the same costume. The game developers never made it like that, like in making tanner known is not for the game driver. But the developers got this aspect wrong because in every game you play, knowing the character makes the game more original like in the case of prince of Persia that the character is known.
The div3r has some magic concerning its driving procedures that pose some hard maneuvers and controls over the vehicle. I have to be honest with you, the game is not an easy genre, and it requires further input for positive mission objective achievements. So how will I start the recommendations to genres? The game's mission objectives pose some dilemma like controlling the vehicle accurately, locating the desired destination to drive to, reading the map accurately and gunning down baddies. You chase a car 10 times faster than yours in traffic and a hard task awaits you and you hit any vehicle, GAME OVER! Which means calita sees her self through the hot chase. WHAT NEXT? YOU RELOAD.

The game is not a wash out in the graphic section. The animations very well done with fantastic colour. You see nice atmospheres, good buildings and fancy cars.

In terms of sound track, the game comes with some good to listen music but quite repetitive and with the pause menu that tend to pose some fun.

My thoughts.

Well the driv3r will have to pose some advancements and improvements over the previous installation that's right. Well I mentioned in the review name never as it was on the play station 1 in the department of action. In the play station 1 version, there are some lacking contents like moving along with legs but the driv3r edges it out In that aspect do to the provision made. In contraction with GTA, GTA edges out driv3r in terms of characterization and authenticity. The driv3r developers made the game frustrating in some cases. But in the overall ratings, I wont say that the game is a bad game rather hard to play game.
