Iomega CD-RW
Review of Iomega CD-RW CD-RW drive by
james564
Advantages: Can burn music, pictures and other data
Disadvantages: Quite Slow
This Iomega Rewriter is a good little piece of machinery, but it does takes it time when burning. Its supposed to take a few minutes to burn a music disc, although it took 20 minutes for an average length CD. ..:Installation:..
Installing the product will take the best part of 45minutes, it comes up with junk about not being compatatible with you operating system when it clearly is. Registering the product can be annoying as well because it asks ... ...Disc Label, You need an Iomega Disc Labeling machine for this feature, you can basically create your own label which the Labeler will place onto your cd.
..: Summary :..
This is a good rewriter, it also has good hardware included with it, but if you want CD's done quickly then you would better off looking for an alternative rewriter. ...

Review of TDK CyClone CD-RW drive by
hammi
Advantages: read my opinion
Disadvantages: read my opinion
The TDK Cyclone 24x10x40 is a genuine professional in things burns. It is a pure Noname blank, which is also so cheap therefore. For only scarcely 1,5? it is to be had in each well sorted specialized trade. The blank is packed in a sturdy covering, which is much flat. There is this blank to buy however also now and then times with sickeren coverings. I find the thinner better, since one saves so half at place. The thicker ones are good for inscriptions ... ...a project and on the fast in an unsorted CD shelf wants to find it, one should seize to the thicker. I added myself so far 4 blanks of this mark. Since these are like crude cryable, custom one not so much many. There were not so far ever problems with burns. No losses, no errors with reading and/or writing or the like. One hardly sees a difference between a taped CD RW blank and a unplayed. With many one does not recognize it by the color of the ...

Burn: A Review
Review of Sony CRX 195A by
mraouf101
Advantages: Remarkable Speed, Durability
Disadvantages: Included Software
...-------------------
This product features a SONY CD-RW, in my opinion it is considered one of the most reliable and good value CD-RW in its category. It can record until the speed of 40x, which can burn your CD in less than 4 minutes.
2. System Requirements
-----------------------
CPU: Pentium 266 MHz or higher for stable writing performance at a high speed, the CPU speed should be considerably higher than the above minimum speed. As for writing ... ...more than fine. I think sony has to reconsider the software package with the CD which is B's Gold or something cuz i lost the CD ages ago.

III. User(My) Opinion
************
1. Why Should You Buy It?
I think if you are thinking of buying a new CD-RW then this or its following types like the CRX230 or something is the best solution, a they are very fast and also very price convenient.
2. There must be some problem?
I dind't face ...

Freecom Classic Trouble Free DVD Burning
Review of Freecom Classic CD-RW drive by
derek-j-a
Advantages: Hard Working and reliable. Can be moved from PC to PC
Disadvantages: Desk space needed because it's external.
I've owned my external Freecom CD RW for some time now, and it has given me excellent service, even though I have "hammered" it, burning DVD after DVD of years of stockpiled home video footage. Time after time, I have had great results with just one unsuccessful burn, but that was a faulty disk -which happens sometimes. When I first went in search of a DVD Re-writer, I was very tempted by getting an internal one to save desk-space and they were cheaper. ... ...slower on USB1}
The Freecom can also burn dual layer DVDs which means that, you can get almost double the amount of movies (i.e. up to 8.5GB) on one Dual Layer disk, but they do tend to cost a little more than the standard DVD disks. Another thing that is useful regarding this drive, is that using Nero (that was packaged with the drive), I can back up any computer file I wish to DVD and this gives me 4.7GB (that is 4,812.8 megabytes) of storage ...

Great Drive
Review of LiteOn LTR 40125S by
burnoutuk
Advantages: Cheap, Reliable, Very easy to use
Disadvantages: None
I've used this CD writer for almost 6 months and well what can I say? simply amazing. Does exactly what you need from a CD writer and at a very affordable price. Ive had no errors from the writer so far so no wrecked blank Cd's and from looking at other reviews before i bought one they seem to be very reliable indeed. The writer is quick and easy to setup, after a quick read of the included manual i had it up and running in around five minutes.
