...that I bought me the Plextor drive. I do this becaus I want this device to extract audio and I've heard that it was the fastest device. On the homepage of the manufactor and on other homepages I'd seen that it could extract audio with up to 40x. And that wasn't a lie. I bought my UltraPlex soon after i bought my first CD-Writer, i found that whilst with mt SCSI wirter when for instance playing an audio CD, i could do just about anything with my PC and sill not have any jitters, with my IDE reader, i had to leave the PC well alone. so armed with the profits from building a PC for someone, i went and splashed out one huindred quid on my Plex. ...the drive vertically. Being Pioneer I imagine longevity is a given, at least here in my household they have an enviable reputation for reliability. I have never managed to break anything I have bought from them in the past. It doesn't seem to matter what quality of disc you present it with either, it just accepts any old tat.
