The Iomega 250Mb internal Zip drive has been around now for a few years. Many of you will be familiar with its predecessor, the 100Mb version which was a landmark piece of kit at the time. So you spend your hard earned dosh and what do you get? Well first of all there are two main packages around. ...operating system fully recognises the Iomega 250Mb drive and really that's all there is to it. You can see it either by double clicking my computer or by selecting windows explorer. The software supplied by Iomega gives you some extra features not found by the operating system alone. Disadvantages: Only comes in beige; No DVD-RAM writing (Read Only)

...the drive vertically. Being Pioneer I imagine longevity is a given, at least here in my household they have an enviable reputation for reliability. I have never managed to break anything I have bought from them in the past. It doesn't seem to matter what quality of disc you present it with either, it just accepts any old tat. I ordered my Freecom DVD Recorder LS USB 2.0 after my CD/DVD drive packed up on my 15 month old HP Desktop.
