Disadvantages: you need to flash upgrade

A real wolf in sheeps clothing.....

Advantages: Very fast, very stable, well priced.
Disadvantages: None which come to mind

Go on Treat yourself to Copied DVD's

Advantages: Fast, Reliable, Cheap. Works a Treat.
Disadvantages: May Look abit Cheap and tacky'ish

I needed a DVD-Writer for the cheapest amount of money but i also wanted quality and usually those two qualities never go hand in hand, BUT i was Very Surprised with this product, I couldnt belive how fast it burned my Monthly Back-Up and in the Long Run I will save me money because you can fit the same as 6-7 CD-R's which means you could save around £0.80 per DVD* you use instead of CD-R's. This is the best drive I have had!

Advantages: Compatibility with other disks
Disadvantages: Needs a firmware update to get the full speed

This is the best drive I have had! I have burnt over 25 discs from my local computer store with no failures yet, all with excelent quality picture. I bought this for about £35 about two months ago from my local pc shop/store. The drive can write almost any disk media avalible at the present time. For such a fast writer it is very quite.
