decent product if you have some back ground knowledge

Advantages: Fast and reliable
Disadvantages: Noisy and needs its own plug socket. Roxio is over complicated for personal use.

When i first opened my freecom dvd recorder i was impressed. it looked decent and very well put together. The installation went well even though it took longer than i had intailly hoped. When it comes to backing up your dvds and cd's the freecom does what you want it to do. It will not convert avi files to dvd format. My drive came installed with the computer and It has worked fine. I was really under the impression that it was good quality. Stable and always works

Advantages: Stable and always works
