I though it would be better if I pass my theory test before taking any driving lessons. Once have I passed the theory test, I started looking for cheapest driving lessons in East London area. I found one Level 6 private driving instructor with more than 20 years of driving experience. He charged £170 for 10 lessons. I thought - it will save me lots of money and I won't have to take more than 15 lessons as I am very quick learner. - Yeah right!!! ...

Last Friday about 9am I was nearly hit by a potentially off duty BSM Driving Instructor using his mobile phone while driving. It was along by Fulham Broadway, he had wavy dirty blonde shortish hair. He had the phone he was using either to dial or text with at the bottom of his steering wheel so it could not obviously be seen by another car driver. This meant that he was looking down. ...usually very tired, yet the BSM policy is to do 2 hours instead of for example 1.5 hour. I would like to mention that we didn't drive much in the test area- and I realised that I didn't know some tricky roads. One can say that if you can drive, this should not be a problem, but I believe my instructor would want me to pass , rather than count on booking more lessons. ...centre. Otherwise you are wasting valuable time on driving to the test centre - and on the day of the exam they expect you to book 3 hours. My advice is now: pick a test centre take a train and arrange with local school to pick you from the station. Now I will go for a cheaper option - I can't believe it can be much worse. ... I rate AA as one of the worst driving schools. I have tried almost all of them as I have taken lessons at different times of my life and only recently because of a job i had to really try and take the test. I have had two AA instructors in the past, one of which had the bad habit of telling much more than i wanted to know about his sex life. The second instructor almost always would break in the middle of a very expensive two hour lesson for a ten ...
...me to drive. I called AA and explained how important it was to take the test by the end of the month and I needed to start straight away. They reassured me and I booked an appointment. The time of the appointment noone turned up. when I called them I spoke to the instructor who came up with an excuse and promised to give me my first lesson for free and to call me later in the day to book it.
