Advantages: Gives a lovely tingling feel; does plump up lips; long lasting effects Disadvantages: Not cheap, not a miracle worker!
When it comes to plumping up your lips, it's a trend that's caught on very quickly, with everyone and their mate now making products that claim to plump up your lips, from Soap & Glory's fabulously named Sexy Mother Pucker, to Benefit's dire offering, Lip Plump. But the first one to appear on the market was DuWop's Lip Venom, which I first came across in Pout in Covent Garden (which sadly is no more!)
Lip Venom comes in two layers of packaging - a cardboard cylinder which twists apart into two pieces to reveal a tiny vial, very much like what I imagine Juliet's vial of poison would have looked like! It's glass and contains just 3.5ml of the gloss and has a screw top, which has a small brush attached - just like any normal lip gloss. But where Lip Venom claims to be different is that it contains ginger and cinnamon, spices intended to ...

Advantages: Spicy tube of cuteness Disadvantages: Possibly pricey, but worthy of its price tag.
For those of you who use lip plumpers, does it tingle when you first buy it, and then a few days later you get used to it and it doesn't tingle at all? And yet for it to work in your mind, illogically of course, it must tingle? I used to be the same but then I found DuWop Venom gloss. This little bundle of joy has a non-stop tingle factor, somewhat like being locked in a room with Zach Braff, Billy Zane and Tom Cavanaugh - non-stop tingles.
Not titled as a lip plumper, but gloss that will "enhance your lip shape". A nice little way of saying this isnt going to change your world or what God gave you, but it will enhance it. This baby comes with its own spice, and I'm not talking Emma Bunton. Its "Spicy Colour Gloss". To steal something from another Ciao member Annaroos1 would say - it's like having a chili on your lips. This ...
Many people may not of heard of the makers of this wonder product so I'll give you a brief history. DuWop is a brand loved by glossy, glamorous celebs such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Britney, Owen Wilson (you know what pressie to get him now Jai!), Elizabeth Hurley and all three of the girls from T.V show Friends. The brand was founded in 1998 by American Soap Actress Cristina Bartolucci and her on set make up artist Laura Deuisa. They gained most of their fans after the high sales of 'Lip Venom' which is a lip gloss like no other. It actually plumps the lips up whilst tasting of anacede and offering the same tingling sensation as chilly!
This is the second product I have tried from the brand and I haven't been let down. Revolotion is a tinted moisturiser for the body that also contains SPF-15 and has a shimmer, for this reason I often ...
