Dual colour TV or not TV?

When I first got home with my new flat screened monster, I attemped with a friend to get it through the door and into our front room. We bought it at special offer from comet with a new TV stand. After quickly erecting the stand we hoisted up the TV on top. Then we pluuged it in and let it work its magic. It took an average amout of time to search for the terestrial TV chanels.
As soon as we had adjusted the settings to how we wanted we both admired the picture quality. I suppose you would expect it from a bus type TV like this but the picture was and still is superb and a nice crisp crackle free sound.

But the real question is "Is this a TV or a just a Big box?"

My Dual DRF 2810 Experience

As I mentioned above I took two people to manhandle into position. I do not reccomend lifting without at least two people. It is very very heavey. This is good because it makes it harder to steal (unlike LCD TVs)
Tunes at an average speed and the picture and sound quality is amazing. The remote is a good size and has easily identifiable buttons on. Runs on 2x AAA batteries. Takes some time to run the batteries down its a good remote.
When I first got the TV it was easy to tune and the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Even without the instructions we would have managed thats how simple it was.
I have SKY too and this simply pluged in the scart and went no questions asked. It was great and simple. The picture through SKY is even better (as you would expect).
Now i have had this TV about 5 years and it still works as well as it did when we bought it. So if your looking for good quality with a long lifetime then this TV is the one for you. We got a warrenty with it and it hasnt even been used.

"Big, Briliant, Beast" or a "sleak, shiney, silver"? Well im 100% sure its the first one. Big is always better. Briliantly simple. Beast of a TV.

The design features a large 50p sized power button for easy on/off control. At the bottom in the center. You can find this button in the dark its great. On the left there are small chanel changing buttons and the remote sensor and an LED light. The Light signals standby/on/off.

The design is good for big fingered people or just folks like me that hate having to search for the on button.
Above the power button the brand name "DUAL" shiny, sleak and sliver sits there gleaming. It is sliver and goes well in almost any style of room.

Picture: 5/5
Sound: 5/5
Ease of use: 5/5
Size: 4/5 (great because it cant easily be stolen/ bad beacuse it cant be moved easily)
Value: 4/5 (With a stand)
Screen size: 5/5 (not too big it ruins the picture not to small)
Lifetime: 4/5 (haven't had long enough to put 5/5)

Overall: 5/5

After all of this I believe this is not just a "Big box" but a "TV" and a great one too!
