In the new Argos Catalogue, there's a toaster/kettle set for under £50. If I tell you I paid more than double that for only one of the items, you might think I was supremely ripped off. Until, that is, I point out that mine's a Dualit. I won my Dualit, 4 slice, silver toaster in a competition - there is no way I would have spent the £179 pounds that it cost (from John Lewis) - that said it a fine looking object, it works like a dream, it is built to industrial strength standards so should last a lifetime. If you have plenty of cash, or generous relatives and want the king of toasters as a wedding present, then i would recommend it.
