Being a fan of the lovely retro look I insisted on having a dualit kettle in my first flat with my partner. I must admit I spent a lot more on a kettle than I should have and this was purely for the dualit brand name and look. I have the cream, but it comes in a wide range of fab colours to fit in with any colour scheme. It does look really nice in my kithchen and if you can afford to splash the cash and are a bit of a slave to the name then go for it. If not Id probably just buy a pretty kettle for less money as this is a very basic kettle. It works well and has never failed me yet but it was rather expensive for what it does.

Advantages: Boils water and looks good. What more could you want? Disadvantages: Must be treated with special care and is expensive compared to other kettles.
