We bought a Dualit grinder after seeing some indifferent reviews of the Gaggia one. We were looking for a reasonably priced but high quality grinder.
There seems to be three classes of electric grinder. The under £20 cheap ones (usually blade grinders), the £30-100 burr grinders, and the £100-400 commercial type grinders. The Dualit seems to be the best of the mid-range models We have been delighted with it.
The Gaggia Classicexpresso machine will produce perfect crema every time if you grind your beans with the Dualit (on the finest setting).
We have also used it to regrind already ground coffee and this also works perfectly.
Like all Dualit products it is built to last. It also looks the part. In keeping with the Dualit style, it is not the most modern design, but it will still look smart in 20 years
An excellent appliance. Every real coffee lover should have one. The difference with freshly ground beans makes it so worthwhile.

In response to the question about product avaulability - I got it from the Whittards Coffee shop in the Great Western Designer Village in Swindon.
Is the blade dishwasher safe? - It has no blade, it uses grinding wheels which I have never tried to remove.
