Advantages: Great for anyone who's serious about cooking Disadvantages: Mixing bowls really need washing by hand
This is a very pretty looking kitchen appliance and once you get over the initial shock of the cost, I'm sure you will be delighted with it.
I think you really do "get what you pay for" as they say, the large outlay really seems to be to cover the 3 year guarantee on parts and the 12 year guarantee on the motor. Now that's what I call Customer Service!
This foodprocessor is a really heavy duty piece of kitchen equipment and means to tackle even the toughest blending/mixing/kneading jobs. It is very heavy and can only just be lifted off the worktop, using suckered feet to keep it in place when running.
It has a great range of clever features including 3 bowls, each with their own blades. Sizes are 3.25L, 2.6L and 1 L (air volume), giving great flexibilty for every task.
The processor comes with a lidded box of tools ...

Advantages: lasts and lasts Disadvantages: my toast isn't evenly toasted
Having read quite a few toaster reviews of late, I've come to the conclusion that a good toaster is, actually, quite hard to find. To me, fresh toast is as quintessentially British as tea and cake, one of the things I missed when I live abroad. There's nothing quite like freshly toasted bread and butter, it's the ultimate quick snack and comfort food.
This Dualit toaster is the one that has undertaken the morning toast ritual in my house since November 2002, I can remember our relationship starting then for various reasons, one being that it took me a while to save up the toaster, as well as to reconcile myself with the idea of spending £90, as it cost then, on a toaster. I was attracted to it I suppose due to its classic good looks and I had heard that Dualits lasted and lasted, and with its pale blue design it also matched my new ...

What better way is there to start the day than with a nice slice of fresh toast and jam? During the Summer, I've been more inclined to go for juice or fruit but as the Winter draw in (sigh) and we all have to get used to getting up in the dark, we'll be turning to the "comfort" things again. Well, I certainly will anyway.
You can get toasters for £7. They toast the bread. They work. 'Nuff said. But they look crap, last about a week and end up with a toasting technique that more closely resembles patchy sunburn. You get what you pay for - and I got a top of the range, stylish kitchen toy that is the envy of anyone who shares breakfast with me.
Style Icon
The Dualit toaster has become a 20th / 21st century style icon. In all those "so cool" American sit-coms, the flat sharers have Dualit toasters. In murder mysteries where cool ...
