Great washable paint that is easy to apply.

Advantages: Its washable, no need to see any little hand prints anymore.
Disadvantages: none

I recently decided to decorate my kitchen, as it has not been decorated for two years and was starting to look a little tired and gruby, so I decided to visit my local DIY store for paint, I was looking for a nice bright colour of paint as I have a large kitchen and need it to look clean, bright and fresh.

I picked my colour which was easter morning 2 (bright yellow) and took the card to the counter to have my paint mixed it only took a few minutes and my paint was ready to apply to my walls.

did I say dulux

Advantages: wipeable
Disadvantages: none

...Dulux, yes I said Dulux, Dulux did it again with a paint that has been specially designed for bathrooms and kitchens, a paint which is both moisture and stain resistant and a great benefit to places that are bombarded with steamy hot atmospheres, and places that are also used to splashes and splatters of this that and the other. The colours that they offer you in this remarkable paint range from pure white, which is available in 1L/2.5L plus other ...
...tub. One good thing about Dulux bathroom/kitchen paint, it doesn’t contain lead. It can be bought in most large DIY stores, B&Q, Homebase etc. Prices do vary from store to store. Have fun with your painting, start with a clear canvas, experiment with different colours and enjoy, be happy knowing it will wipe clean in times of need. Thanks for the read gill1960 ...

Not just once

Advantages: Good quality, good choice of colours
Disadvantages: Price

I have used Dulux-Emulsion in several occasions and have 3 rooms in my house decorated with Dulux paint. The colour is very rich, does not smell as much as the competition and is very easy to apply. The Dulux-Once range is suitable for every room and only needs one coat. My living room is decorated with their "Sugared lilac" colour and looks still fresh, even after 3 years. Their "Kitchen and Bathroom" range is suitable for most rooms and is usually cheaper than Dulux-Once. However, there is not much difference in quality. We have got the colour "Lemon-Peel" in our kitchen and we only needed one coat. Overall, the quality and choice of colours makes Dulux the one to go for, even if the price is a bit more expensive. It is worth getting a sample pot for £0.85-£1, to experience the quality. ...

Review of Dulux Emulsion Coloured

Half the price but justs as good quality

Advantages: With Kitchen a nd bathroom paint it is more durable
Disadvantages: Someone has to apply it to the walls

, as I found out buying the cheapest of the cheap really is giving yourself a sense of false security, it is truly rubbish, I have never seen white gloss turn yellow before my before! Ok, first I tried Wilkinsons own brand, but after several coats of the weakest looking substance I have seen since my Grandmothers cups of tea, I decided to try again! Well my local B&Q actually helped make my decision in trying them by having a half price sale on all of their home brand paints so i had to go along and see what they could offer! 1. The Kitchen and Bathroom paint is cheaper than Crown or Dulux but is the same quality. 2. Having paid extreme amounts for both Crown and Dulux before, I have not found it to be that special. 3. The colour range provided by B&Q is excellent 4. As I found out B&Q paint does not splash any more or less than ...
