Dulux Bathroom & Kitchen

I recently decided to decorate my kitchen, as it has not been decorated for two years and was starting to look a little tired and gruby, so I decided to visit my local DIY store for paint, I was looking for a nice bright colour of paint as I have a large kitchen and need it to look clean, bright and fresh.

I picked my colour which was easter morning 2 (bright yellow) and took the card to the counter to have my paint mixed it only took a few minutes and my paint was ready to apply to my walls.

I recently decided to decorate my kitchen, as it has not been decorated for two years and was starting to look a little tired and gruby, so I decided to visit my local DIY store for paint, I was looking for a nice bright colour of paint as I have a large kitchen and need it to look clean, bright and fresh.
I looked at a number of top brand paints but I couldnt find the colour that I wanted, I then seen a paint chart with loads of different colours, that could be mixed in the store, these were available for kitchens and bathrooms.
I picked my colour which was easter morning 2 (bright yellow) and took the card to the counter to have my paint mixed it only took a few minutes and my paint was ready to apply to my walls.

My kitchen was a nice purple colour so I decided to apply a couple of white emultion undercoats to my walls before adding my kitchen paint, to make sure I had enougth to cover all of my walls.
When my walls were dry I used my roller to apply my kitchen paint which went on the walls thinly, it took three coats of this paint before I decided that it looked fine and that the job was finished.

My walls look very smooth and silky, the colour that I bought was a great choice as my kitchen now looks very fresh and clean, everyone has commented on the colour and I am very pleased with it.

I found this paint to be of great value and the quality is very good, having small kids can be a nightmare at times with sticky fingers and juice going everywhere, but I dont need to panic anymore as I can wipe it clean without the paint coming off the wall, 1 tin seems to go quite far as I have a very large kitchen and I had to give my walls three coats of paint.

I would recommend this paint, its not only great for people with small kids as kitchens can get grubby quite easily with all the cooking eating and drinking that goes on in them. Well worth extra couple of pounds for a better result that is easy to maintain!
