Dunelm Mill is one of those shops that I always tend to go in for my added extra's, I'm a typical female, I want fluffy cushions on my bed even though they serve no purpose and get thrown on the floor at the end of the night. I get rid of all my bits and bobs, never save them for some reason which would be logical because you never know when I might need them again if I change my mind on a certain colour of another ... ...time.
The Dunelm Mill shop in Fenton, Stoke on Trent is a huge open planned shop, very well lit and give a nice welcome when you walk in, and to be honest it makes my eyes light up, and my purses feel a lot lighter unfortunately.
Broken down into sections Dunelm Mill sell more or less everything to accessorise your home. Curtains, rugs, bathroom accessories, kitchen accessories, bedrooms accessories, linen, pillows and ... more
I go through phases when it comes to my house, I can go a while without doing anything to it and then when I get that thought in my head about doing something, its all systems go, no stopping me and I end up moving from room to room, a costly exercise but for some reason put me in house mode and I am like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to making new purchases.
When I start a room, I am never just satisfied with decorating, everything has to be changed, i.e. bedroom, I can't wait to get my colour coded curtains and bed linen. I spend a fortune really.

I get rid of all my bits and bobs, never save them for some reason which would be logical because you never know when I might need them again if I change my mind on a certain colour of another room. I don't have any sense sometimes, I just think about what I want at that current time.

To be honest I never spend a fortune in there, I have never bought curtains however have fell upon some bargain pillows as they have a huge variety and I always find a pillow that suits me as I am a fussy sod, can't be too soft, can't be too hard, needs to be firm and spring back into place when you have slept on it. I find the prices of these items to be exceptionally good value and also the products to be of a high quality too.
The staff within the stores are a downfall. You get a lot of young workers in there who are fine and prove to be extrememly helpful, however in those sort of businesses where you have younger workers, you find the managerial staff slightly older, mid twenties, walking around the aisles, making their presence known with their noses stuck in the air, thinking they are somebody important because they can boss young kids around and undermine them which I think is appalling, I have worked in these circumstances myself years ago in a call centre and I would never even dream of treating my staff like that. To earn respect you have got to respect yourself.
I always find the kitchen section quite useful to be honest and can pick up little bits and bobs that you wouldn't normally find anyway else. There selection is slightly minimal however you can pick up the likes of Pyrex dishes at very low prices and I like how they cater for your pets too and have some quite nice bowls for dogs and cats and I also bought Sandy his own ceramic biscuit barrel, which unfortunately got broken because he sussed it out and decided to help himself to his own bonio's and broke it my trying to get his head in it. Comical, but I won't be investing in one of those again.
They do some delightful pictures in there, a cross section of different things that would be suitable for bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens and also lounge and dining rooms. I find their variety good and totally different from the like of what Argos sell.
I also find myself stocking up on candles and oil for my burners as they do have a nice selection of diffefrent fragrances and I am kind of a candle addict and love a candle burning as I have a bath, makes me feel relaxed and makes the atmosphere feel tranquil.
You can pick little pieces of furniture here, however the ranges are not consistent, so I tend to steer clear of these. However I have purchased some leather storage boxes that came as a pack of three various sizes that are very useful around the house and enable me to have less clutter about.
I find Dunelm Mill a great little shop, one that I sometimes forget about sometimes, but can guarantee whenever I do pay it a visit I always come out with quite a few bits and pieces, which I have always been happy with the quality.
Advantages: Sells Fabric, Cheap and varied stuff Disadvantages: Sometimes you get overwhelmed with it all
Background
Dunelm is a successful home furnishings shop which has been in operation now for over 20 years. Started in Leicester, the company first established smaller high street stores primarily in the East Midlands. In latter years Dunelm has grown to incorporate the more convenient out of town 'superstore' shop. Dunelm stores usually provide free parking for customers, although the store I normally frequent does not have that many spaces attached ... ...nearby. There are around 70 Dunelm stores around the country and I would seriously advise you to check them out if you haven't already.
What do they sell?
Dunelm stocks a variety of home furnishing goods and one of the main attractions is that you can buy your own furnishing fabric and make things for yourself. There is generally a good range of fabrics arranged by colour so if you know what kind of look you're going for you can get to the relevant ...

...new products and found the Dunelm Mill. First I have to confess two things. First I was never quite sure how to pronounce that name. I guess being german didn't help so I always ended up calling it the "dunno mill". And second. I loved that shop.
My experience will be based upon the Dunelm Mill shop in Coventry, Midlands. Dunelm Mill is mainly found in the Midlands. But they do have over 75 stores nationwide. Advantages: Good Quality and Good Prices Disadvantages: Some Aisle can be a bit of a squeeze because of the amount of goods on display
...the demise of haberdashery shops Dunelm Mills has become one of my favourite stores.
Based on a 'supermarket' type store Dunelm Mills holds everything you could think of to furnish your home.
It doesn't matter if you are loaded with cash or are on a bit of a budget, you can always find items well within your price range.
Let's start with the bedding. All sizes are catered for - from cots, through single, double, king size and extra king size sheets, ... ...you will find something at Dunelm Mills. There are generally aisle and aisle of them, in colour order. But if you can't find a colour or pattern you like you could make them yourself - Dunelm mills sells material as well, plus thread, embroidery thread, needles, sewing machines, scissors etc.
Of course, now we have done the bedroom, bathroom and the curtains, you might want to turn your attention to your kitchen. Ok they don't sell kitchens but ...

Advantages: Its a stuff emporium Disadvantages: Because its stuffed with soo much, it looks cheaper
Dunelm Mill has the best price babies bedding I've found. My children have slept (1 still does) on 100% brushed cotton fitted cot sheets bought as a pair for less than a fiver, so I've just bought some for my friend in Southampton because Dunelm Mill haven't reached that far south yet (they have a website were you can do a check on where your local store is, the futhest south I could find was Reading or Swindon). My Daughter is physically attached ... ...overwhelming amount of stuff at Dunelm mill, they sell bedding for every size of bed, including the duvet and pillows (we get our slumberlands from here, and give duvets and pillows as presents too), they can curtain or blind your room with some nice thick lined curtains at a good price or you can just get storage boxes bins and bags (we use pop up bins for our re-cycling and bought a big box shaped zip up soft sided container to store the unused ...

There has been a Dunelm Mill in my local town for the last couple of years and I am in this shop often. It sells things for the home and it isn't that expensive as well. What does it sell anyway? Things like Duvets Bed Sheets Towels Kitchen Wear Curtains Storage Mirrors Candles Pictures Bins And so the list goes on ...... I'm sure you get the idea! Sometimes there is offers on in the shop, as I got a Mirror from here that was normally £12, but when ... ...with 20% off. I was happy enough to pay the £12, as that was cheap but was glad to save that bit more. The opening times for this shop is quite good, as although it opens at the normal 9am this shop shuts at 6pm and 7pm, which is also good as you can nip in after work or so on, since it's not shut at the standard 5pm The shop near us is quite spacious, but I can't say if all the shops are the same size. The staff here are alright. Sometimes it can ...

Yes, I know bit of a lame title but I cannot think of anything better than that...
The store that I will be reviewing will be our local store based on Sealand Road in Chester. For those of you not familiar with this area it is a small retail park approximately 15 minutes walk from Chester City Centre and contains many of the poular stores such as Currys, Hobbycraft, TK Maxx, DunelmMills, Rosebys, DFS etc
After 6 months of redecorating our home the lounge was our final project, wanting to opt for a neutral scheme we decided to go for a fairly substantial carpet having a living room with the stairs leading to upstairs it was going to take a bit of wear and tear.
*~*Why did we choose Carpet Right*~*
My parents had always used our local branch of carpet right when I lived at home and they had always had no complaints and were ...
