Advantages: No springs to wear out and poke through Disadvantages: light so can move when you're fitting sheet
We had been looking for a new bed for ages and hadn't found anything that was soft enough to be comfortable yet offered enough support for us. My partner suffers from back and neck pains so support with comfort was important. We had bad experiences with even expensive sprung mattresses wearing out quickly and so weren't keen on getting even a top of the range sprung mattress. When we found a Dunlopillo stockist and tried out their range we were delighted. They offer a range from 100% latex (most expensive) to I think 25% latex 75% dunlopreme foam (cheapest) in various firmness and base options (sprung slat, sprung edge and platform). The Flamenco is a 50% Latex 50% Dunlopreme foam matress and we had the platform base as the matress felt firmer and so suited us better. Since buying it we wake up feeling as if we have had a sound ...
Advantages: Very comfortable with good storage under the base. Disadvantages: You don't want to get out of it!!!
I received my new Sealy bed about 6 weeks ago. I suffer from a bad back - so having read the reviews on the bed which has twice as many springs for extra support as a normal bed I was convinced this would only improve my nights sleep. i was right. The sealy bed is very comfortable - with a layer of memory foam on the top, this may sound odd but its also a very warm bed. It tends to hold body heat which if you're always cold like me is a bonus.
Mine came with four drawers which are very useful as - its a double bed, the storage available within the four drawers is very handy and out of sight.
The bed is light and easy to assemble.
The only thing I had to get used to is it stands higher off the ground than my previous bed. So at first it seemed like I was having to climb into it - but you get used to this after a while ...
Advantages: Inexpensive but a decent wine Disadvantages: None
LINDEMANS BIN 50 SHIRAZ 2007
Lindemans is one of South Eastern Australia's oldest and largest winemakers. For a couple of decades now it has been just about my favorite budget brand in the world. For as cheaply and readily available its basic products are, their wines are remarkably consistent. The base price of their standard line of wines is around £7, but they are usually on offer at one of the supermarkets for around £4.
That's what I paid for this bottle, the 2007 Bin 50 Shiraz from Sainsburys.
Like a lot of Australian producers that produce wines in mass quantities, Lindemans wines are probably as much a work of science as they are of art. The wine making process is fairly standardized and there is a lot of effort made to do things track the temperature of the vineyards where the grapes are growing in order to ...
