Early 2006, my Grandma wanted a cheap DVD Player so she could let my younger sister watch dvd's (aswell as her self!). Went to look a few few websites and seen a Toshiba for £29.99, but then decided to try ASDA... When i went to look for a DVD Player in ASDA they had this (the Durabrand 2005). And it was under £20, so i got it for my Grandma.
Included in the Box was the instructions, scart lead, remote control, batteries for the remote and ofcourse the DVD Player itself. So it was just a case of plugging the scart lead into the TV and turning it (and the tv!) on. So set up was simple and straight forward.
Put Scooby Doo in to test sound and picture quality, considering the price i wasn't expecting much. But the sound that comes from the player is very good, as is the picture quality.
This DVD Player has Home Cinema connections aswell for surround sound etc.
Overall this is a good Simple DVD Player, for just wanting to Play DVD's (but isn't that what dvd players are ment for?). Theres nothing special about it, but there's nothing wrong with it either. And the price isn't exactly gonna burn a hole in your pocket.

The instruction manual is easy to use and follow and gives ... ...ten times better.
