Advantages: Are there any?! Disadvantages: Abmisbale customer service, expensive.
Please don't waste your time or money in using this company. DVD's either dont arrive, or when they are returned they refuse the accept that the DVD has been returned. I tried cancelling that account with them, and they cant even manage that properly, they still take money. Their customer service take forever to reply to emails , they really arent "customer focused". In all due to their incapability of running things properly, i have been a member ... ...cheaper to go to the shops, or to a reputable online retailer, and purchase a copy of the DVD you want. Its not very often I cant think of anything good to say about any companies customer service, but dvdsontap is different in my experiences. However perhaps my experiences are a one off and they are more helpful to some of their customers out there? Somehow however I very much doubt this! ...

Advantages: DVDs delivered to your door for cheap Disadvantages: Slow service, DVDs often faulty
I was a customer of DVDsOnTap for over a year but have recently cancelled my subscription.
The way this service works is simple. You put the movies you'd like to see in a queue on their website and, for a monthly subscription, you enjoy unlimited rental of DVDs which are delivered by post along with a return envelope; you keep the disc for as long as you want and upon returning it in the envelope provided they send you the next one in your queue.
... ...also a link to view new arrivals - handy if you're looking for movies to add to your queue. There's also a user-driven 5-star rating system to help you choose or you can simply search by title/director.
Their website is well structured and friendly to use but the service tends to be slow so you only get about 4 movies a month - that's about £2.50 a movie, still a pretty good deal. The problem lies in the quality of the DVDs. In my experience, they ...

Advantages: armchair ordering, as many dvds as you can watch in a month Disadvantages: waiting for them!
I’d never thought of renting dvds from the internet before. I used to just buy cheap dvds and watch them once and waste my money!
That is – until I found dvdsontap! I found the website through i-points which was perfect as they had a 14 day free trial for which I received 20 i-points and no obligation to join after this period. No restrictions on just watching it once or to be pressurised into watching it immediately and sending it back!
I signed up, a very easy registration process including setting up a password for yourself. Four steps later you’re ready to roll. Within a few days I’d received my first dvd, along with a franked envelope to return it in. The dvd comes in a small plastic round case. You’ll have to read the info as to what the film’s about, how long ...

Advantages: Easy Ordering & Quick Delivery (+ 14 days free trial) Disadvantages: Haven't got the very latest films
I have just recently signed up for DVDSontap following a recommendation from a friend & have found it to be great. I am getting a 14 day free trial (anything that's free is a bonus!)& have already received 2 films through the post both of which were in great condition. Considering I joined less than a week a go I think this proves their service is good. It is advisable to choose up to 5 DVD's at a time & put them in order of preference as this ensures that if your first choice isn't available for any reason you'll receive another film. Once the free trial is over there are a choice of 4 payments the lowest being £7.99. I have chosen to pay £9.99 a month which I think is a great deal considering ...
