Dylon Fabric Care - Super White Net Curtains

Keeping net curtains white is the bain of my life. My husband smokes cigars, only a couple in the evening, but it plays havoc which my nets. They get a nasty yellowy tinge very quickly and smell very musty. I'd rather not hang nets, but we have a very, very small piece of land to the front of the house with neighbours opposite, so I feel I need nets to prevent people staring in when walking past. I tried putting a tiny bit of domestos in with my washing powder (naughty!), but to no avail, so I browsed Sainsbury's shelves to see if they had anything to help. I like nets and I have some lovely lacey ones in my dining room. They let the light in but they keep the nosey people and thieves from seeing in. I have always had nets and I like to keep mine nice and white because there is nothing worse I think than nets that have gone yellowed. No-one smokes in my house, so I don’t have the problem of cigarette smoke making them discolored and I wash them regularly but I find that they fade and I think it’s the sunlight that does it.
