Advantages: Relatively robust , reasonable value., practical colours Disadvantages: Grill door must remain open when in use
I purchased the silver version of this freestanding gas cooker and grill some 10 weeks ago. The cooker is available finished in either silver or gold enamel which appears to be quite robust and hard wearing. The cooker top is black as are the sides. I thought the WL stood for without lid, but it seems from the instructions that it means waist level. This was clearly lost on me at the time of purchase but I did not require a glass lid in any case.
Beware confusion in the listed title description of this product. It is certainly not for LPG (liquid propane gas connection) and this is specifically mentioned in all the literature.
The 550 version is 55 cm wide and if you have the space, well worth upgrading to 55cm cooker, since it is surprising just what extra can be fitted into the oven when friends arrive.

Advantages: Great Specs and now at a great price Disadvantages: No off switch
After spending four months looking for an LCD TV under £500, getting totally confused by all the reviews on various sites and forums, we eventually bit the bullet and ordered the Toshiba 32WL66 last week. We've only had it a few days so it is early days but so far so good.

OK so a bit about the TV. It's a 32"" widescreen model (comes with several different picture modes) that is HD ready. On that point, it comes with two HDMI slots, rather than the one that most ...
Advantages: Small footprint, Crisp and true colours, Multifunction (TV and PC monitor) Disadvantages: No Scart or S Video cable included, Low screen resolution in PC mode
Having been impressed with the improved quality when I ditched my old CRT computer monitor for an LCD model it was only going to be a matter of time before I would replace the televisions in my house with LCD systems, the picture is so much crisper and the colours a truer reflection of their real selves. With full size LCD televisions costing the best part of one thousand pounds I decided to update my bedroom portable first just to make absolutely sure I was still enamoured by the improvement these displays give, and so it was that I popped into my local independent electronics shop and parted with the £400 necessary to make the Toshiba 17WL46B my own. Luckily they had a good stock and the fact that the packaging is not at all bulky means it is the type of product you can take away with you there and then. The Toshiba is silver in colour ...
