Right now all the jargon is out of the way, onto the USB Dongle.
This has a disc to be downloaded on the additional PC, laptop. It takes around 2-3 minutes to download, once the download is finished you just need to re-boot your computer, once re-booted insert the dongle into either a USB port/Cardbus/PCI slot, the computer then picks up the new hardware, follow the on-screen prompts and voila its done.
My Linksys was easy but this is just a piece of cake, no effort required at all, just what most of us like, something easy and simple to do.
The reception is brill, the speed is fast and the connectivity is spot on.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is able to use it, which I believe is only NTL/Cable/Virgin customers ...

After 16 months of use, my BT voyager 210 router exhibited symptoms of failing i.e. intermittent loss of connection, slow download speed even the ADSL line is clear. I bought this ADSL2/2+ modem from Amazon at £24.99 (good value) for my ADSL connection (I am not with ADSL2 yet) and this router confirmed that my BT voyager router was
on its last leg. After installation, the download speed was back to usual.

security on this handy router is great, it has WPA2 which is very hard to break into compared to your original WEP connections which are relatively easy to crack compared to WPA (from research) so WPA2 sits on a whole different level.
For added security this little router also has mac address filtering, so only specific computers can connect to it.
