Advantages: Great sound and excellent build Disadvantages: Need quality amplification
, and the difference in sound quality compared to the Quads is vast, although you tend to notice this over a long time, rather than a 5 minute demo. In short if you are looking at spending around £850 for speakers make sure you audition these, you will be pleasantly surprised! ...
Advantages: Small, fast, tight detailed, stable load Disadvantages: Ummm, maybe not enough bass for everyone
Having recently moved into a small flat, my floorstanding loudspeakers were putting out too much bass. It was boomy, and meant no loud listening.
So, armed with my favourite piece of plastic, I arranged to take my amp along to Practical HiFi in Manchester for a listen to some speakers. I planned on spending £500 maybe £600 if there was that much difference.

Advantages: some people will quit Disadvantages: people still standing at doors of pubs/restaurants
this summer smoking will be banned in public places in england, which means no smoking in pubs, hotels or restaurants anymore. Now i can understadnd why there doing it because once winter comes no ones going to want to stand out side in the freezing cold for a tab.
I am a smoker and i dont think the ban will bother me much i can still smoke in my house plus 5 minuites stood outside having a very much needed tab that i crave i dont think it will bother me. The reason this ban is coming into action is beacuse alot of people smoke these days and the number goes up each year, i guess their hoping alot of people will give up, however i dont think this will happen.
Scotland has had this ban in place a year now and each time i go up there i dont like it because all tyhough im a smoker i hate passive smoking and thats wa=hats happening ...
