Last week me and my husband went on a spending spree. One of the things we bought was a Dyson vacuum. We decided to buy the DC07, as it is the latest Dyson out at the moment.
The Dyson DC07 is a bagless vacuum, so no more changing hoover bags. It is very powerful and never loses it's suction. When I first used it, I noticed the difference between that and my old vacuum. You can see the carpet been pulled up as it is that powerful and it picks loads of dirt up too even though I had just hoovered with my old vacuum.
The Dyson DC07 has an 8 root cyclone, which makes it 45% more powerful than the previous Dyson's that are already out.
There are different colours to choose from too. These include:- Silver/Yellow Silver/Turquoise Purple/Green purple/Turquoise Purple/Red
I have the Silver/Turquoise one.
This Dyson comes with a stair tool, a brush tool and a crevice tool. There are other accessories too for the DC07, but you have to order these on the web or by telephone. The other accessories that you can get are:- Floor Tool = to reach under low floor furniture Mini Turbobrush = for pet hair and fibres Zorb carpet cleaning powder = for cleaning the carpet Dyzolv spot cleaner = for cleaning stains like drinks.
The tools that come with the Dyson are stored on the Dyson itself, so you never have to lose them.
The Dyson DC07 is very simple to use. Just plug it in at the mains and press the on/off button. To start vacumming push the cleaner head down with foot and pull the handle towards you.
The hose is really long so you can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the steps whilst you clean them all. I could not do that before with my old vacuum. It saves having to drag it up each step at a time to clean the steps.
For your safety:- Do not pull on the cable Do not use the Dyson above you on the stairs Do not use naked flames Do not leave near a radiator Do not put your hand under the brushbar when on or in use Do not run over the cable Do not vacuum up cigarettes.
The Dyson has filters which need to be washed every 6 months. Just rinse them under cold water and let them dry for about 12 hours.
Your Dyson has a 2 year guarantee, which you need to fill out a form and post off back to them.

I bought my Dyson from Curry's for £278.99, which is expensive but it is worth every penny. You can also buy Dyson from Dixons, Electrical shops and many more places. If you look around you may find one a bit cheaper.
I'd definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone as it is really effective. You will notice the difference too.

Excellent review. I'm wanting to buy a Dyson but I'm just going to get the aftermath of the Christmas spends out the way first. Thanks for all the detail. Mike
