Advantages: best ever suction, on-board tool storage, no dust bag Disadvantages: telescopic hose feels flimsy and bulky
I was a Dyson virgin until last month when my trusty Henry's nose kept falling off so I bit the bullet and decided to pay the £229 for the DC08telescopic. What attracted to me about Dyson was, to be honest, being able to see my own dirt - errh! but wholly satisfying. I had held off getting one because of a) the cost and b) I had heard from more than one source that they can be unreliable. On further research though, I found out that it tends to be the uprights that have the problems rather than the cylinder version.
Well the proof of the pudding is in the eating and i can honestly say that suction wise I have never had anything like it. I'm sure it would suck the paper off the walls if you pointed it in the right direction. After my Henry it did though seem awfully heavy and cumbersome. The hose, especially seemed unweildy and is ...
Advantages: Many Disadvantages: trying to find some
Well I've finally bit the bullet and bought what I call and expensive hoover considering I normally only spend about £50 on one.
My previous hoover sprint had almost had its day so it was time to get a new one. Reading many reviews on ciao I decided on a Dyson, but which one is best ? well I saw this one on offer for £139 and decided to get it.
~ Dyson ~
The Dyson brand is a very well know brand when it comes to vacuum cleaners and a few people I know have them and swear by them. So what's the big deal ? - cleaning power and no loss of suction, robust and reliable. Dyson also make quite a lot of different models for which ever purpose you require. Apparently Dyson only make dry hoovers which is fine for us.
~ The DC08 Origin ~
Bought it, put extra cover on it and brought it home in a nice big box. The DC08 is ...
Advantages: Light to use Disadvantages: Heavy to pull along
I bought the DC08 Animal Telescope Wrap yesterday on a 28 day money back trial.
It comes with a mini turbo brush, crevice tool, flat tool, brush and regular turbo head.
I have wanted a Dyson for a long time but have been concerned about the uprights because I have a dodgy shoulder and don't think I can handle the weight.
When the DC08 first came out I enquired at Dyson whether they would be introducing a motorhead like they did with the DC05. I like the beats as it sweeps clean aspect of an upright and most of the UK cylinders were just suck. Anyhow, Dyson refused to comment on what was in design, so I sat back and waited. Eventually they bought out the Animal with the turbo brush. Turbo brush revolves with the force of the suction. I have to say that the bristles on the turbo brush are few and far between and whilst the head ...
