    4 Stars This device really sucks, unfortunately so does the price 22/10/2011

    Advantages Advantages sucks well, easy to use, easy to clean and it's a Dyson

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The price is high whilst the stamina is very low

    I like using handheld vacuum cleaners, maybe not like using but find it easier to get out for those small spills rather than having to drag out the upright monster that hides under the stairs. Anyway, there are many many hand held vacuum cleaners on the market these days, with some being as cheap as chips, so to speak, whilst others can make a bit of a dent in your bank balance.     It's an animal. I had been saying to my husband for a while that I needed a simple little hand held vacuum cleaner after my Dust buster gave up and low and behold he came home with this £170 Dyson model. We already have a big sized Dyson which I absolutely love as it picks up everything but its so bulky and I really can't be bothered to get it out of the cupboard all of the time just to hoover up a few crumbs when the kids have finished dinner so I knew this hand held Dyson would be very handy and convenient.     Why I purchased this item We had a hand-held hoover on our wedding list, it was around £50 and had brilliant reviews. I wanted a hand-held hoover so that I could hoover the stairs quickly and hoover the car quickly. Our kind and well-wishing friends decided they wanted to buy us a hand-held Dyson instead which cost over £100 (between several of them). We were thrilled to bits, but I was also a little sceptical, knowing that hand-held hoovers vary a lot with their "suck" capacity for want of a better phrase.     Advantages Advantages Lightweight, easy to use, plenty of power

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Charge only lasts for 15 minutes on continuous use (but this hasn't been a problem to me)

    When I bought the Dyson DC34, I was searching for something that I could use to vacuum the stairs. I have a disability and have just bought a house with my partner having only lived in bungalows until this point. My problem was that I didn't want to have to hard brush the stairs everytime I needed to clean them and although we keep two vacuum cleaners (one for upstairs and one for downstairs), I was struggling to use the attachments without pulling the vacuum cleaners over or having to lift them onto higher steps.
