I had this hoover about 6 or 7 Christmases ago, yes I had it for Christmas! My parents bought it for me and my husband when we moved into our first home together and ever since then we have had no trouble with it at all. The Dyson DC04 that I have is a yellow one, the one in the picture shown is green. They yellow is as bright as the green is and stands out from everything in the house, luckily I have a cupboard for it to hide away in when not in use.

The look

This is an upright vacuum cleaner and contains all the attachments in little indents along the top of the hoover. there is also a small pipe attachment at the rear of the hoover.

Ease of use

Plug into the mains and press the one switch located on the main base of the hoover. As with all hoovers flick the handle backwards by holding the bas of the hoover with your foot and off you go. The hoover is easy to push around corners and glides easily along the floor picking up dirt and dust as you go. As the cylinder is clear you can see what is coming up from your carpet and believe me it isn't pretty! It is hoover surprising that all that can come up from the carpet!

Emptying is easy too, Just flick the switch to remove the cylinder and take to the bin. Flick another switch to remove the lid and empty. the dust and dirt is easily removed from the cylinder with a few bangs against the side of the bin.

Suction

This vacuum has excellent suction. This is through both the main part of the hoover as well as the pipe when taken off to be used and continues throughout using each of the provided attachments. It picks up all sorts of items even ones you don't want it to. It is quite satisfying hearing the crumbs and bits go up the hoover pipe.

The pipe is particularly long and so can reach most of the way up the stairs for cleaning. It isn't very heavy but it also isn't lightweight so wouldn't be suitable for an elderly person to carry up the stairs,. there are a lighter ones available.

this hoover works really well and I would recommend it to you to buy. It retails at about £220 so an average price.
