I am not going to buy another Dyson. The "Animal" was my second Dyson upright vacuum cleaner. Both of them literally fell apart and they did not have rough treatment. I can only come to the conclusion that they are not built to last more than a couple of years. If you are happy to keep replacing your vacuum cleaner, buy a Dyson.
The Animal comes with a turbo brush and worked well initially. When it went out of guarantee, the motor started to give out. Despite changing the filters regularly, the motor becomes superhot and the machine just switches off. It's useless to me and I am going to replace it with a less gimmicky machine that will last a lot, lot longer. Tacky, tacky, tacky. I love the bagless design but it doesn't pick much up at all so it's going to the tip.

We've had our dyson for over 5 years and it's still going strong. I wish the attachments er, attached a bit better though. Perhaps you've been unlucky.

I think you need to strengthen your review significantly. There is a lot you can talk about here. Try going into a bit more detail. I own a Dyson and it is excellent. I have had it for years and never had a single problem with it. It works brilliantly and I am intrigued that you have had such a poor experience with a product which is so highly though of. Saying that, I don’t dispute your opinion at all. I just think you need more information to add to your argument.
