"Sometimes you have to spend money to save money" thats what I was told when I left home, I couldnt work this out really...initially, I went to University and my first year after that I moved into a house with some friends, (one of which had a couple of cats)
I had never really had a problem with pets, sometimes its nice to have an animal round the house when no one else was in, there was only one problem with this...a couple of my sisters are allergic, and coming up to christmas 2007, we were going to be having a number of family gatherings!
My friend was close with a couple of people that lived nearby, and said that when my sisters came to visit they would take the cats round there, and have her friend look after them...that took care of the cats, but what about the hairs etc.
I decided we needed a decent Hoover that would take this problem away because my sisters liked to visit, and I got drawn toward the Dyson, I had only ever heard good things about it, except the price was not exactly the cheapest, but hey what can you do, I remembered what I had been told, and thought it would be a good time to test it.
The bonus with the Dyson is that it does not take bags, so there is a saving already, and also has a HEPA filter, suitable for allergy sufferers, well I thought this would be as needed, so I got one, and to be honest, the carpets had never looked so clean, when we moved in we had an old stand up vacuum cleaner, and it wasnt the best in the world, but it kept the visable dirt away, whereas this Dyson was better than that, the deep ground dirt and hairs were removed and the place looked even cleaner as well as feeling cleaner.
The first main test was when my sistes came round, they did as I had asked, and gave me a decent warning, so I had time to have the cats being babysat, and a proper clean round, and it worked, admittedly they are not the most allergy sensative, but they usually would feel the signs if there was an animal kept, but they were fine, and it was not even mentioned!
I am a very happy owner and have not had any problems at all with the very compact, easy to use, and easy to pack away, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with pets or in the same situation as me...and even for people without pets, its not only for people with pets, Ive leant it out to a couple of people because of the intense deep cleaning that it provides!!!
A tip...shop around, and get one for the lowest price, as then you are getting a great product for the best price!!!
