I've recently been suffering from mild eczema on my arms and had heard that E45 was effective at relieving the areas. As well as using the cream to treat the effected areas, I also tried the moisturising lotion to stop my skin getting too dry. I have always used a moisturiser after showering but I thought I'd better try a dermatological one for the moment.
E45 moisturising lotion is very light and is applied easily. It can take a short while to absorb fully but it immediately makes the skin feel soft, and relieves any dry itchy skin. I find it's particularly good after shaving legs as it takes away the stinging that can sometimes occur! I don't think it's helped the eczema much, so I'd recommend a more specialised cream if that's the problem, but for everyday dryness it's good.Compared to other moisturisers I've used (including Champney's, Soap&Glory) this moisturiser does not smell as nice but it is by no means an unpleasant fragrance. I plan to keep using this from now on as a basic moisturiser, but I'll probably move onto others every so often as a "treat." For a good, cheap everyday moisturiser though, this one is perfect.
