I am absolutely delighted with my new broadband service from E7even. It really does work out at £10 per month, even the modem and connection are free (if you pay in advance for two years). E7 was a bit slow in sending out the modem, and I was apprehensive about having to do the connection myself, but the E7 helpline was fantastic and the whole system was set up easily and I have not experienced any problems. E7 have a special offer on at the moment of an upgrade from 512 to 1M if you take out two years' with them. I considered this initial outlay to be well worth the savings made. Their helpline is a bit disconcerting at first; you get an answer phone message saying they will call you back. However, they DO call back very promptly. The helpline costs £1 a minute(!) but you can pay a one-off payment of £5 for one month for a much cheaper call rate and this is definitely worth it, especially for the help with installing the modem etc and any initial queries. The helpline staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Obviously, they are trying very hard to win hearts and minds at the start of their launch. The broadband signal seems very stable and the modem appears to be of good quality. I am certainly recommending e7even to my friends.
Advantages: Cheap, reliable and fast access, excellent range of services provided Disadvantages: Requires a minimum of 3 months payment, poor content
BRILLIANT!!! I've been with e7even on their Annual 512Kbps package for almost two weeks now, and I am extremely satisfied with their service. The speed is as fast, if not slightly faster, as my previous DSL ISP (Pipex). E7even's e-mail support is superb - I have e-mailed them on numerous occasions asking for general information and usually wait no longer than 15 minutes for a reply!
Besides unlimited Internet access you also get 50Mb of webspace, ... ...this a problem!
Furthermore, e7even offer a referral scheme where you receive a £20 payment for each person referred once they have signed up to e7even, so, theorectically, you could get some or all of your money back, depending on how many people you refer. PLEASE NOTE that this isn't why I have given e7even such a rave review - I am honestly very, very happy with their service and am pleased I joined them.

...can't even speak to this e7even comedy outfit. see adsl guide.org.uk if you're still not convinced or ispreview or broad-bandits.com or the funniest one yet http://www.upyourse7.50megs.com although no laughing matter you can tell a good service as when things go wrong there is some sort of backup .... not in this case, it went wrong and very, very wrong ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Very Poor Tech Support and even worse Customer Service
I have since November been complaining about the slow connection speed. My connection was supposed to be a 2Meg line, but it was not unusual to have sub 100K. The bog standard reply was to get you to do a speed test and after that, that the difficulties were due to contention, which would be addressed with an upgrade in December. Late November brings an offer to up the speed to 8Meg for a fee, which would happen when the system upgrade took place ... ...is sent to say that my user name was to be changed from that date. This I did and so it came to pass that the line speed drops below 70K, frequently it goes off and you cannot even get a reply to emails, nor voice mail. All you get is Tech Support (09 number at a pound a minute if you have not prepaid for support,) which keeps pointing you to "option 1, system status, "all networks and servers are operational."" Which simply was not true, or "option ...

Hello,
I was with E7even for 1 year, everything was pretty much ok 90% of the time...
Anyway, on January the 4th 2006, I suddenly lost my connection, after many promises this will be fixed by the end of the week, this week ended up last 11 weeks.
Anyway, they offered compensation for my loss of broadband for 8/11 weeks. This compensation was for 8 weeks added onto my service...
Anyway at the beginning of July, my connection was gone, like before ... ...way I see it is, E7even has some kinda partnership with Ezee Dsl, as Easy DSL are doing exactly what E7even done at the begging of the year, saying we'll have your connection fixed within a few days, when they really mean they will have it done in 3 months and then disappear and cut you off and fob you onto another one of their business names or partners.
So my advice is go with major Company.
At least when they rip you off, with a few phone calls ...

Advantages: They were good value for a while Disadvantages: They seem to have ripped off a lot of customers in a big way
As a now ex-customer of E7even who is owed nearly 2 years worth of service, which I have paid upfront for and do not anticipate receiving any refund on, I have deleted my previous review.
Instead you might like to see the comments which I sent to Ofcom to add to their notes as part of the investigation that they are currently conducting into E7even.
"E7even recently terminated their broadband services, no emails were sent to inform their customers ... ...line will be held until E7even officially cease to be on 14/7/06, and it will then need to be reconnected. This "new" company is apparently part of EasyDSL - who also supplied the service for E7even as I recall. They have acquired all the hardware, customer data, settings, domains etc. but are assuming no responsability for debts or MAC codes. To me this sounds like a breach of the Data Protection Act at least, if not actually some sort of fraud ...
