There is a lot of controversy within the sports nutrition world as to which supplements do and do not work but Creatine seems to have been given the universal 'thumbs up'. I think the main advantage is that you do not feel so stiff the day after exercise. It gives you a psychological edge, because you are prepared to push yourself even harder in your next workout, knowing you'll still be able to move later! It has been further suggested that Creatine taken with a carbohydrate (fruit juice) increases its effectiveness. PhosphagenHP is just this; a Creatine/Carbohydrate cocktail. The price does seem a little high, but I've tried buying a cheaper Creatine and mixing it with a carton of grape juice. It tastes about the same but actually works out more expensive! EAS have a good reputation within the industry;I would recommend PhosphagenHP to anybody who is determined to improve their sports performance. Incidentally, taking more than is recommended to get quicker results has no benefit at all. The body is only able to absorp a certain amount in a given time; the remainder results in very expensive lavatory water!
