If your looking for a workout to get you fit in the comfort of your own home, this package is ideal. Filled with a variety of exercises and challanges from cardio, lower body, upper body, and sports you will find yourself coming back for more as you can try something different everytime and mix up the wokout as you choose. Some exercises available are: target boxing, dancing, squats, running on a track, lunges, basketball and so on. A workout leader will take you though each task which is extremely helpful for any novice like me! Although this may be a fun workout it is very much a workout and will get you sweating in no time. The simplest mode lasts 20 minutes and takes you through stretching, runnin and lifting. Be prepaed for a sweaty workout. The advantage of this package is that it has options of difficulty, easy, medium and hard. So if like me you are not physically fit, you can choose the easier setting and work your way up. But i can not stress enough that easy is NOT easy. The aim of the game is to get you fit and this it does!!
EA Sports Active comes with the game disc, a Wii Nunchuk with a thigh band that tracks running, and a stretch resistance band for lunging and weightlifting. Your own wii remote will be used for such things as throwing and punching. The Wii balance boad is not an essential requirement but i find it is helpful with a number of activities. Th package also has a workout calendar, it can track your calorie losses and even asks questions about your diet.
Compared to other computer games this is sure to get you motivated and possibly lose a good few pounds!

Advantages: The 30 day challenge keeps you motivated and the exercises aren't boring! Disadvantages: Doesn't keep a record of your weight and occasionally doesn't track your movements.
