►► ► Introduction to EIZO (I love the name)◄◄◄
EIZO is a Japanese company with the main business activities in development, design, manufacturing and sale of display monitors and peripherals, amusement products, and imaging system software.
Working with LCD monitors I've noticed that this company produces monitors of great quality sometimes even at the same quality and performance level as Samsung, LG or others LCD producers.
Regarding this monitor the EIZOFlexScan S1911SH I was attracted especially by the 2 ms midtone (gray-to-gray) response time or 6 ms normal response time specified by the producer and because I'm a great gamer and I also watch so often movies I decided to give a try to this monitor and I was not disappointed.

My big telly is an EizoFlexScanF980. I'd just like to quickly point out that this is the screen I use at work - I probably couldn't afford to buy one for home use!

The FlexScan has been awarded a number of awards and is Energy Star compliant - what this basically means is that if the screen image is static for any length of time, it switches itself off to conserve power - you will hardly every notice this feature though, as it takes half an hour.

Advantages: Rotating screen. Fully customisable, professional colour adjustment. Disadvantages: Menu is not user friendly!

1) Compact and sturdy design. It doesn?t feel wobbly like some of the cheaper models on the market.
Before this Eizo monitor, I was using an IBM, standard (not LCD) screen before, and this always gave me huge strains on my eyes. A few years ago when we had these 17? IBM monitors (sorry, I don?t remember the model number), my colleague and I couldn?t believe that within 5 minutes, we were both complaining about how sore our eyes had become. We had to order an anti-glare screens on the same day. With EizoFlexScan L985EX, you can easily adjust the brighness of the screen, and so much more.
So when my company decided to to upgrade all the monitors in the company to LCD ...
