I love my big telly
Review of Eizo FlexScan F 980 by  andyev

Advantages: clear picture, comprehensive menus,
Disadvantages: quite expensive

...My big telly is an Eizo FlexScan F980. I'd just like to quickly point out that this is the screen I use at work - I probably couldn't afford to buy one for home use! The monitor is big, at 20 inch diagonal - and has a massive depth to match - so it may not be convenient for a small space. The monitor offers the usual ergonomic feature of an adjustable base - which allows you to tilt the screen up and down, left and right, to attain the optimum viewing position. The FlexScan has been awarded a number of awards and is Energy Star compliant - what this basically means is that if the screen image is static for any length of time, it switches itself off to conserve power - you will hardly every notice this feature though, as it takes half an hour. Technical burst: The dot pitch of 0.23 mm (horizontal pitch is 0.20 mm) makes... Read review

Crisp view at any angle! Kind to your eyes too!
Review of Eizo FlexScan L 985EX by  Happysue

Advantages: Rotating screen. Fully customisable, professional colour adjustment.
Disadvantages: Menu is not user friendly!

...I use this monitor at work and I like it very much. This black, slim, 21” flat LCD monitor by a Japanese company called Eizo, has a lot of features to offer: 1) Compact and sturdy design. It doesn’t feel wobbly like some of the cheaper models on the market. Before this Eizo monitor, I was using an IBM, standard (not LCD) screen before, and this always gave me huge strains on my eyes. A few years ago when we had these 17” IBM monitors (sorry, I don’t remember the model number), my colleague and I couldn’t believe that within 5 minutes, we were both complaining about how sore our eyes had become. We had to order an anti-glare screens on the same day. With Eizo FlexScan L985EX, you can easily adjust the brighness of the screen, and so much more. So when my company decided to to upgrade all the monitors in the company to LCD... Read review
