ELC Soft Stuff Re-usable modelling dough

What is Soft Stuff?
----------------------------

Soft Stuff is a re-usable modelling dough suitable for children aged 2 plus, It comes in many different colours and is also available in a glitter style.
Soft Stuff comes in a small tub with a lid which is easy to open and close so no worries about the dough drying out- if the lid is shut proparly it will last years!.

What Soft Stuff is like
-------------------------------

Colour: Soft stuff comes in many different colours, we brought the glitter pack which is red, blue, green and purple all with a hint of glitter which does not come off on hands or the surface the children are playing on.
The colours are also very bright.

Smell: It does have a slight smell to it, but it is not a strong smell and it is a nice hint of smell.

Softness: It is vey soft and easy to mould/roll/cut etc, it does not leave your hands dry like i have found with some doughs my daughter has had before.

Usage: There is a nice amount of dough in the tubs so it is easy for sharing no worries about children fighting for the same colour.
It is also easy to get back into its tub- my 3 year old can shape it back by herself.

The Packaging
----------------------

Each colour of soft stuff comes in its own individual tub, the tubs are small and have a lid to stop the doug drying out and going hard.
There is a purple label with the elc logo and the name of the product which is "soft stuff re-usable modelling dough" and also a clear age guide which is 2 plus (tho chloe was younger than this wen she first started playing with it.
On the back of the label there are care instructions such as "protect clothes and furnishings" and there are also contact details.

What it costs
--------------------
Soft Stuff dough starts at four pounds for a pack of four tubs there are a variety of colour packs available (we chose glitter)
Some colour packs available are;
  • Standard- Red, green, yellow and blue
  • Pearl- Blue, white, pink and lilac
  • Bright- Orange, green, red and yellow
  • Glitter- Green, purple, red and blue

The code for glitter pack is cat no 110351

Why it is so good
-------------------------
Soft Stuff helps children develop creative skills, it also helps develop senses by exploring colour, texture, shape and form.
Whats more it is something you can do with your child and have hours of fun creating lots of different things and if kept in the container it will last years.

Any disadvantages?
---------------------------
The only disadvantage is the same as with any dough, it can get squashed into carpet/furniture so it realy is best to find an area for playing and lay a play mat/paper down so that it avoids this.

Other items in the Soft Stuff range
---------------------------------------------------

Aswell as dough Soft Stuff have a range of accesories including;

* Crazy hair- grow, comb and style the cool kids hair then cut it off and start again.

* Flower set- Four tubs of Soft Stuff plus all you need to create a flower pot garden.

* Rescue veichles- Mould and decorate your own rescue squad.

How do i fing my nearest elc
------------------------------------------

simply log onto the elc website (elc.com) click store finder and enter your postcode.
Dont worry if there is no store near you or you can not get there you can order online or over the phone.

Overall
------------

Overall i think Soft stuff dough is a must have- great for thoose rainy days, doesn't break the bank and can be made into anything.
