Advantages: Good price, fanastic card, a real boost over onboard sound ! Disadvantages: Sound recording problems with 3rd party software ..ill explain later...
...decent speakers to.
Audio Production: This comes with a little warning that I have discovered with many hours of my own time wasted. But it isnt likely to be a problem to many users of the card.
This soundcard plays back great with all media, and the recording side is no let down, crystal clear recordings, with very good clarity and precision sound reproduction / playback. A real boost to normal stock soundcards…. However… although this all seems great, (don’t get me wrong I love this sound card) I did discover that it is not always compatible with some software. The ONLY fault I have discovered is that it doesn’t work well with EMAGIC’s LOGIC AUDIO PC version when recording creating a tremelo effect .( violent modulations in volume making it sound like someone is playing with the main volume...up...then down.... up ...then down etc etc...

Advantages: good portable storage Disadvantages: bit expensive compared to a cd writer and media
...There's little doubt that the Iomega Zip drive is now the market leader in removable storage devices, ahead of its nearest rivals the LS-120 and Sony's HiFD drives. However the Zip's 100MB of storage has started to seem a little miserly given that the demand for capacity continues to rise - driven in part by the increasing use of graphics, video and sound files on the Internet and company-wide intranets. But the new Zip 250 has leapt ahead of its rivals, offering 250MB of storage, over 50MB more than Sony's HiFD super-floppy drive.
Like its predecessor, the Zip 250 is available in a variety of flavours, both internal and external, and with a choice of interface. The most popular of these will probably turn out to be the external drive, which is currently available with either a parallel port or a SCSI connection to the PC. A USB...

I thought having reviewed some of the DSLR cameras I own or use it was about time I spoke a little about one of my favourite point and shoot digital cameras. There are so many digital cameras to choose from these days you would be forgiven for thinking... more
I wanted to buy a camera that was easy to use, but that also had all the new tech (diff. photo modes, black and white, night, time). I found the Fujifilm great for everything that I needed.
It is beautifully small and compact and the face recognition... more

IMAGE QUALITY: It does have good points however. 7.2 Megapixels isn't bad for the price. The Optical Zoom is a slightly below-average 3x, with a respectable 4.8 Digital Zoom. Most features, however, are only standard - nothing unusual. This... more
One word, folks: pretty. Look at it. You don't buy this camera because you want to be Liebowitz or Lynley, you buy this camera because you want to take photos of your friends on your nights out, and you want to look really cute while you do... more
