Canon EOS 550D

I bought my canon over a year ago and since it has been a wonder! Whether you a are a beginner or expert in photography it's simplicity and easy manual functions make photography fun and pleasurable.
There is a video setting which performs HD video recording and when used correctly gives some amazing results, even in low key lighting situations meaning there is no need for any external lighting. When using making sure you have a large memory card else you will only be able to record around 4minutes on an average card.
The auto mode is flawless, I have never had to correct exposure each result is perfect whether it is in close up or a landscape shot. The resolution is superb making the images pristine and very sharp, colours look vibrant and rich and it is a pleasure creating them.
the body of the camera is quite petite and light without making is 'plasticy' which makes it ideal for females as well as males.. i could carry this around my neck all day and not feel a thing! It makes outdoor photography easy and the camera isn't too large so a huge camera bag isn't necessary for short trips.
The built in flash is as good as you will get for a built in trigger, it will suffice in some occasions but i would recommend an external flash gun to give your pictures a softer and delicate look. The menus are very easy to navigate and don't get confusing making learning on this camera easy and stress free if your just beginning. The range of lenses available are vast and are brilliant to experiment with each as lovely as the last
I could not fault my canon it is still in pristine condition and it is very resilient I got caught in the rain with it and despite receiving a little water unintentionally it's still taking wonderful pictures and everything works fine. If your looking for a beginner camera for the extra money this is what you want!
