Advantages: Great sound and feel considering how inexpensive it is. Disadvantages: Not the highest quality guitar, but one musn't complain for it is pretty cheap.
I, myself, play a very diverse range of genres on guitar. One could find me playing metal, rock, funk, blues, classical (that's right, mozart, bach, etc.)- You get the idea. ESP is usually able to make all of those sound just find, regardless of which guitar you've purchased. This guitar is an ESPLTD. LTD is to ESP as Epiphone is to Gibson. This doesn't mean it's any less well constructed. For particular specs please look it up at musiciansfriend.com. these guitars are built to last as on odd occasions i have drop and hit this guitar into many walls with a dink or scratch appearing. The EMG 81 Active set give the best sound compared to any other make such as Seymor Duncan and the live wire or passive set.
the Neck-thru-body adds and ease of playability along with the flyod rose tremolo which adds to a low profile and ligarto style ease of playing.
Amazing feel coupled with a wieght near perfectly balanced which adds to comfortable prolonged usae .
no other guitar for this price comes close to the look and feel, sound and reliability of this amazing guitar.
