Advantages: fun family game Disadvantages: tricky to set up
When I was a little girl I had the game of Ker PLunk which I absolutely loved. The idea was that you had a plastic tube. Halfway down the tube you had a load of holes for which you pushed through thin plastic sticks which formed a sort of floor. On top of these sat loads of marbles which you had to try to keep there as you removed the sticks, It was very noisy but a lot of fun!
When shoppong for my daughter's fourth birthday I spotted this honeybee tree in the Early Learning Centre and as I was reminded of Ker Plunk, I bought it for her. In many ways it is similar to my childhood game but is much more attractive to look at. Instead of the plastic tube, sticks and marbles, you have a honey tree, long leaves and bees. When you first play the game you have to assemble it which is a little time consuming but not difficult. The three main ...
Advantages: smells nice and sweet, really moisturising and hydrating Disadvantages: turns bath water a pale yellow colour, some may dislike the smell and price
I only used half of the HoneyBee; so I have to be greedy and use it all. Besides the bath ballistic is actually quite difficult to halve partly because of its shape, size and the material its made from.
Using the HoneyBee couldn't be simpler all you have to do is add it to your bath water when you are running your bath so as it has time to dissolve and fizz away. The HoneyBee starts to fizz quite a bit as soon as you add it to the bath water however this rapid fizzing only lasts about 30 seconds or so before it starts to slow down and fizzes more slowly. In all I would say that it takes about 4 minutes or so for the while bath bomb to completely fizz away and dissolve fully in the bath. You could however speed up the fizzing process of the bath ballistic by breaking it into a few smaller pieces. As soon as the bath ballistic has ...
Advantages: Leaves lips soft and moisturised, reasonable price Disadvantages: slight waxy feel takes a while to get used to
The last thing I need, if I'm totally honest, is another lip balm. I have absolutely loads of the things - there are usually at least five floating around in the bottom of my handbag at any one time, not to mention several more dotted around my flat, so when I received a Honey lip balm in my Burt's Bees kit, I decided not to use it until all the others had been used up. Yeah, right. That plan lasted about two days, until the moment I was lying in bed and decided I urgently needed lip balm. My handbag was all the way in the sitting room, but my Burt's Bees lip balm was in a box, literally two paces from the bed - so my little resolution was promptly broken.
The lip balm comes in stick form, and is yellow with a honeycomb pattern on the label, a mustard coloured lid, and it twists up from the bottom. I don't think it's the most ...
