if you are looking to upgrade your pc for gaming on a tight budget this is the best place to start for £70 you deffinatley get your moneys worth with all the features included

this board is the heart of one of my kick ass machines and that is exactly what it will do
This Motherboard is certified for SLI use
my only bad point
asus website very slow when wanting to download updates
why pay £150 for a striker extreme when this is half that
p.s my freind has the striker and i dont feel a diference at all apart from the striker boots up slower too much junk in its bios
the p5n is stripped to the core for performance all unneeded removed
it is easy to install and set up with good istructions to do so
and will even fit ...
Advantages: easy instal, x16 bandwidth on both slots, 2x gigabit lan, easy overclock Disadvantages: fan loud on nb
Bought this board to replace the Asus P5N32-eSLI Plus board that wldnt overclock my processor at all.
Really impressed so far as the board has lived up to all the hype that surrounds it on the internet.
Packaging:
This board was packed a liuttle differently to any motherboard that i have bought in the past. Instead of an anti-static bag it came in plastic mould that seated the board very well and prevented any damage occuring during transit. The board also had a multitude of accesories with it. This included the manual, quick start guide, sli bridge connector, driveers disk, sata floppy disk, black sata cables and black ide cables.

So what you think !! - Well the difference with this is that you can overclock your pc while in game by using preset overclock features and monitor system performance while doing so, if it's struggling you can then switch back.
~ The motherboard ~
As stated in the specification it's a socket 939 with 1 PCI Express x16, 2 PCI Express x1, 3 32-bit/33MHz, 4 184pin DIMMs or PC3200 memory, 4 USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Lan port, 1 firewire port and a separate sound card.
Don't be fooled by some reviews stating this has ATA - 150 support only, it actually supports Sata II on 4 channels which is ATA-150 compatible, the other 2 ports are ATA-133.
The motherboard uses Nforce Ultra chipset with a 6-channel audio via nForce4 integrated audio and ALC658 codec PCIE sound card ...
