Hi All
Let's face us we as British motorists get a pretty grim deal at the moment. In my view every penny I save when running my precious car is a very grateful penny saved. So how surprised have I been lately to find a tyre company who not only thinks of its customers first but also rewards them. "Whats the catch" I hear you all shout out. Well as yet I haven't discovered one.
The Product.
So what is this wonderful service. It's not new and it's not revolutionary but it certainly is good value for money. The company I refer to is Etyres an online home or work tyre replacement service. It actually does what it say's on the tin but in this case it dose it extremely well, the web site is both simple and informative. With in seconds after entering your tyre size and details you are taken to a list of every tyre available from the cheapest remould to the most expensive sports tyre. There are filters that can be applied, though the easiest view is to filter by price.
What's the difference?
Well balancing, valves and fitting are already incorporated in the price so the first value you see is the actual price you pay unlike some of the High Street branches. Where there are the added extras of those mentioned above and things like overheads for premises and disposal of tyre carcass.
Even more incentive, I recently had the miss fortune of having a puncture in one of my new tyres. I did the usual thing and asked round the big four National, Kwik Fit, Halfords and Bathwick tyres. All wanted between £15 and a staggering £29 just to repair a puncture on some cars I could have almost bought a replacement tyre.
By chance I was looking through the Etyres website and was about to ask them for a quote to repair my damaged tyre. Well how surprised was I to find the following statement: "All tyres purchased from us are covered for the life of the tyre with free puncture repair" That's right something for FREE. Now with motoring that really is a bargain, but being the suspicious character that I am, I thought OK how much it will cost to have the van come out and fix the problem. I emailed the customer services department and within the hour had an operator talking to me and arranging for my problem to be fixed totally FREE GRATIS and for NOTHING.
In Conclusion
Yes you might find a tyre slightly and I do mean slightly cheaper on the various online sites and indeed with some of the dubious special offers the High Street tyre companies offer, but let's face it their offers are nearly always for tyres that are just below the size or speed rating we require. Though for peace of mind and free puncture repair, have the tyre people come to you when it's more suitable either at work or home. Then this company is certainly worth some very serious consideration...
Have a look at the site you certainly have nothing to lose:
