Unless you have a very high powered shower I would advise others NOT to install this item. It cuts down the power of the shower considerably and is very difficult to remove. We installed it, used it for several days and soon wished we hadn't - it claims to reduce water usage but still maintain showering quality - we found this NOT to be true! Now it is installed we are having great difficulty removing it because the part of the shower that you attach it to quickly joins with the Eaga shower smart and becomes almost impossible to unscrew once it is attached. We have wasted many hours trying to remove this product. No doubt this product is probably very good for the environment, but it's no good for our shower!
The way it works is simple. Basically it creates a constant flow of 7.7 litres per ... more
minutes, giving a full even jet with less fluctuation in the speed of the water flow from your shower. For a two person household, they claim that by using this item, they will save more than 12,000 litres of water per year, which at current prices will mean a saving of roughly £20 each year on gas bills and (assuming your water is metered) a saving of £20 on your water bill per year :; Simply unscrew the shower hose, put in the red fibre washer between the unit and the taps :: :: not suitable with electric showers, showers with multiple jets or rainwater showers.
