The Bee's Knees for younger children Review with images

AdvantagesQuick, fun, child -friendly pieces, easy to understand

DisadvantagesTime to place all the bracnhes

"...easy, fun game from the Early Learning Centre, designed for younger children. The best way of describing the game is a young children's version of the game Ker-plunk, using bees in a honey pot instead of marbles. ==== AIM OF THE GAME ===== The aim of the game is to have fewer bees in your segment at the foot of the tree when all the branches have been removed than the other players. ==== PUTTING EVERYTHING TOGETHER ==== The game comes with ..." Like bees around a honey pot!

Advantagesfun family game

Disadvantagestricky to set up

"...honey bee tree in the Early Learning Centre and as I was reminded of Ker Plunk, I bought it for her. In many ways it is similar to my childhood game but is much more attractive to look at. Instead of the plastic tube, sticks and marbles, you have a honey tree, long leaves and bees. When you first play the game you have to assemble it which is a little time consuming but not difficult. The three main components are a base, a tree trunk and a see through ..." Read review

Buzzy Bees

AdvantagesGood fun, no batteries

DisadvantagesLeaves can be fiddly to insert

"...Bee Tree is from The Early Learning Centre and is for children aged 3 and above (perfect as my kids are 3 & 4). It is very similar to the classic game of Kerplunk but I suppose you could say it is ‘jazzed’ up a bit to make it more interesting for the younger participant. Inside the box you get a transparent honey pot, an old oak tree, a tray/tree base, 32 leaves & 30 bees. All items are plastic, and the honey pot, tree trunk and tray base fit together ..." Careful try not to let the bees fall out of the tree

AdvantagesPasses time

DisadvantagesTakes ages to set up

"...toy is available from thye Early Learning Centre for £6 that’s half price as its RRP is £12 I have been playing this game a lot at work recently. Well playing alongside and supervising children playing with it anyway. We have had this game now for a couple of years and the children using it are not always the most gentle and the toy is still in good condition. @This is a game similar to kerplunk; it’s a game where bees all fall down when leaves ..."
