Advantages: Extremely high volume, excellent sound quality, variety of effects on offer, An easy lifter Disadvantages: None to report.
...The Line 6 Spider 2 offers the most amazing volume from an amp i've ever experienced (minus metallica gigs of course). If your thinking of buying a new amp, forget the Marshalls, Line 6 is where the quality lies.
It's not just the volume, the effects on this amp can offer ridiculas sounds and tones, required for proper shredding.
The list of names associated with this amp is endless, and I can see why, Jim Root relies on this amp to deliver a pure metal experience, which it does without hesitation every single time.
Dont get me wrong, It's not just a metal amp though, this amp delievrs just as much quality on it's "Clean" setting as it does on the award deserving "insane" mode.
In short, all serious guitarists of all styles should buy this tame beast of an amp in order to be able to shred beautifully, in all aspects of thier playing....

My baby... Review ofYamaha TRB6II 6-String Electric Bassby
mick101
Advantages: Very beautiful, nice to play Disadvantages: The active EQ is a bit lacking
...The Yahama TRB6-II is a 6-string bass with an active EQ and a 35" neck. It is available in several different finishes, mine is a very lovely red-burst.
The instrument plays extremely well, and being a six-string bass, it has a B below and a C above the normal bass tuning range.
The body is ash, with a bolt-on maple neck. The neck is SERIOUSLY wide, and it'll take a bit of stretching of the fingers before you can get the most of it (well, my one is a her..!)
The fret board is ebony, and has 24 frets with mother-of-pearl inlays. It has 2 double coil pickups for that nice, full sound and the active EQ has 5 controls. All of the hard ware on it is nice and golden, adding to the sheer classiness of the instrument.
The bass itself is lovely to play, but it does have a couple of minor faults, mainly to do with the EQ. For an active EQ...

Advantages: Awesome sound clarity, Awesome inbuilt effects Disadvantages: Heavy
...As an avid electric guitar player, a good quality amp is imperative to my sound. The Line6 Flextone Plus provides more than just bang for the buck.
At 100w of power, you won't be left lacking whilst using this amp. Featuring Dual Celestion 12" speakers, chances are you won't crank this amp up to full very often. Speaking from experience, when you do, the sounds will blow you away. Often with amps, playing at full volume induces unwanted noise - this isnt the case with the Flextone Plus.
Featuring 36 different Amp and Cab models, 6 types of delay, 6 effects, and a fully programable interface - this is the new age amp revolution. No longer get stuck in a rut with tones. Switch with ease with the included FB2 - One minute be playing modern high gain over driven heavy metal, with the tap of a button switch to a clean jazzy tone, little bit...

The Sigma 50-150mm ƒ/2.8 II is a solid, well constructed lens built with a metal lens mount and wide zoom and focusing rings. It is an update to Sigma's previous 50-150mm ƒ/2.8 although there's very little difference between the two lenses.... more
