I am currently on a monthly contact lens scheme from Specsavers, where for the price of £10 per month I receive three pairs of lenses and three bottles of Easy Vision solution delivered to me every twelve weeks. I can obviously buy an alternative solution (at an extra cost), but this one has suited me for so many years that I rarely do unless I've heard particularly good things about a new brand or product.

There's not much to say about Easy Vision solution; it cleans my lenses well and also keeps them supple throughout the month. I personally clean my lenses both after taking them out of my eyes and also first thing in the morning before I put them back in, this solution leaves me with clear and smear-free lenses which is extremely important not only for the health of your eyes but also from an I-can-see-all-day point of view.

This is a multi-purpose solution, making it suitable not just for cleaning but also for soaking your lenses overnight and rinsing them off if some irritation occurs during the day. The preservative free solution means there are no 'nasties' to annoy the very delicated and balanced eye area, while the addition of Oxipol aids the cleaning and disinfecting of my lenses and also helps to keep them well lubricated.

I've never had any eye irritation while using this multi-purpose solution - actually, the only irritation I've experienced is through the horribly bulky shape of the bottle as I hate having to lug it with me when I go out for the day or away! For this reason I'll sometimes buy smaller bottles of solution (other brands, usually opting for the cheapest) just for ease of transportability. I can see the reasoning of the tall thin bottles as they do stack nicely in the bathroom, but a shorter round bottle would suit most busy people much better.
