What is a dehumidifier? A dehumidifier does what it is called, it dehumidifies. It is opposite from a humidifier (a more type friendly word), a humidifier puts moisture back into the atmosphere whereas a dehumidifier takes moisture away from the air. I would not think using a humidifier and dehumidifier together would be a good idea (you won’t make a difference apart from raising electricity costs).
What are the benefits of a dehumidifier? It can take care of damp and mould matters. Removes moisture from the air that can cause health problems such as arthritis and rheumatism.
Where does moisture in the air come from? Washing dishes The washing being hung up Showering Outdoor moisture
What benefits does the ebac dehumidifier offer? Reduce pollen in atmosphere, helps with asthma and breathing disorders. Has a filter that kills bacteria in the air and fungi. Other filters can deal with bad odours such as smoke and pets. Has a built in defrost system that will defrost any frozen moisture automatically Only costs 2 pence an hour It has a smart system that reads your living standards, it records moisture levels in 24 hours and adjusts itself to turn on and off at the best times.
The benefits of this product itself make it saleable. You can turn this product (I am not even gonna bother typing dehumidifier) on to an auto setting, this will adjust itself to when it will be the best time to turn on or off, so basically you just need to turn it on and leave it’s to do its job. The only thing you need to do is empty the container when it is full, the container can hold up to 15 litres. I need to empty it every 3 days which is quite good. This series is suitable for a 5 bedroom house.
Operation is fairly quiet, especially when I has turned itself off, you can’t tell its running (I am soooo funny). At small intervals you get to hear it dribble, the thing sucks in all the moisture and I suspect it holds it before it goes into the container, and a while later you hear the water dribble into the bucket (something you like to hear).
I think this product is excellent, and I have noticed that the air has got warmer, it is supposed to increase temperature by 2 or 3 degrees Celsius. I must say this product that carries so many benefits is worth its price. It was £230 from the co op but it is cheaper on the ebac website.
NOTHING BETTER THAN CLEANER AIR.

Advantages: Works perfectly, Good usable features, Econ mode, Smart Control (Humistat) Disadvantages: Fan noise
I have owned an Ebac 2650e for over a month and wanted to give my feedback. I have found the unit to be excellent overall. Performance wise we have gone from having serious condensation on our windows in the morning to have none or very little within one month. Feature wise the 2650e is excellent. There are varying operating modes. All of these are controlled by the SmartControl which regulates the humidity of the room via a humidity sensor. This ... ...moisture build up.
The unit is resonably quiet with the main noise coming from the main fan. Certainly you can sleep with it in the same room unless you are a very light sleeper.
If you are looking for a dehumidifier, Ebac and the 2650e are my recommendation. ...

we were flooded and purchased this dehudifier. It was wondeful at removing the water now a year on and we still use it, as it reduces the heating bills by getting all the damp out of the house , it does generate a little heat. well worth buying. a little noisy but ist not constant as there are vaiable settings.
It appears to be quite sturdy and strong. The customer service line is excellent as i have rung them to get replacement filter and received ...
