...The family has just brought one of these. This is excellent for a photographer and for family pictures High resolution pictures at 8 mp Fairly easy to use however it is worth looking at the instructions first You must keep a look out for the offers only places in town only supply the smaller lends and charges over 400.00 for this We got ours from ebuyer at £353.00 and we got bother lends I cant fault this camera but i would intend to say it would only be used to its full protential with someone experienced with photography and has a basic experience with cameras I myself get on very well with it with many options for night snaps etc. I would recommend getting this from ebuyer however i belive this camera is being replaced by another olympus model an its not as good so get one while you can!... Advantages: easy operations, large LCD, fast focus.
Disadvantages: len is too long, and has slow to focus in dark light.

...Just bought from ebuyer. I got the best price in the UK. and it is very good digital camera so far I owned. the previous one is olympus C-8080. I have to say C-8080 was an excellent camera with dog's good quality pictures. however, the menu system is awful. naives have to learn some to gain the fluent operations in C-8080. Canon powershot pro1 is excellent in easy operation. the menu is very simple and almost there are all buttons on the camera corrsponding to the menu functions. the manual focus is good,like the normal camera operations. but the len is little bit longth when you shot telepictures. the focus is slow in dark light. movies clip is not as good as c8080 although they are using the same frame rate per second. overall the performance to price is good now.... Advantages: its Sony! easy to use, great pictures
Disadvantages: not thought of any yet!

...bought a few extra 256mb memory sticks (for around £35 from ebuyer.com). It’s quite fun that you can make videos with it as well… and they turned out great. You really won’t be disappointed if you buy this Sony camera… I liked it so much that I’ve bought two as Christmas presents!! And its even better now the price has come down….
