I ordered a piece of wireless networking equipment from this company and it was reciced with no issues. Upon inspection I received that I had ordered the wrong device as this was only an access point and not wireless modem/router. I requested that it be returned using their automated service but I didn't get it sent back in time, so they cancelled my request for return, I believe this was after 30 days. When I tried to resubmit a return request, ... ...the item not been returned within 30 days of receipt. I emailed the company asking if I could send it back, I DIDN'T want my money back as I was going to re order the correct device. They refused, even though they would not lose any money and that the device was still in its original packaging (unopened). I ordered LCD TV from Ebuyer as it was about £30 cheaper than other RELIABLE companies. What a mistake!!!!! Another proof that you get what you pay for. Paid an extra for it to be delivered on Saturday. I received an e-mail saying ithat the tem has been dispatched and will be received as specified.So Saturday comes and as I didn't receive the TV by 12.30pm I called the Customer Service to enquire. They told me that they tried to deliver but nobody ... ...promised that the money will be refunded. So finally got the refund but it took about 10 calls and lengthy conversations. Never again I will buy from Ebuyer as I've experienced the worst Customer Service. Absolutely horrible!!!Yes, they are a little bit cheaper but believe me, not worth the fuss. ...

Quick review of Ebuyer
Slightly cheaper than most, but God help you if you need to use their incompetent and unhelpful staff. Returning anything is a nightmare, and they are frequent users of dirty tactics, eg harsh business terms giving only 28 days warranty, disguising own brands, ignoring emails, using 0871 support numbers...
Pay the extra 1-2% in price and get your products from somewhere reputable with decent customer service. ...

Advantages: speedy delivery, good products Disadvantages: no geographical number or customer service, dvd player needs additional software
EBuyer has lots of strengths BUT I am disappointed at the cost of calling customer service and the time taken to respond. If you get in a queue sometimes you find you're in the wrong queue and then are transferred to another long phone queue. The lack of a geographical phone no means it is unnecessarily expensive to call customer services. Owing to the specific location of my PC I had to use a mobile phone. I spent £24 calling them to get what could ... ...the OS. Also, the DVD player doesn't play DVDs without buying an extra bit of software - I think this should be clear at the point of purchase. I generally like the site and the products. I think they are very speedy and their customer service is courteous and helpful but the routing to the correct part of customer service is also not always straightforward. I will use them again. Advantages: Cheap, Quick and easy. Disadvantages: none
I have used ebuyer for many years and I have never been let down. I have purchased laptops, TV's , many gadgets and lots of computer components. Every time when promised the items have been delivered on time and in some cases before the delivery date quoted. Even the free delivery times have been in 2 days when it would have cost me. I have always had the items I have ordered and never a different product. If I bought cheap items i would not mind ... ...long as it was not cheaper in quality. Advise. i would not pay for delivery if not in a rush, because it will most probably come sooner than expected anyway. it is possible to order in the evening and receive the next morning but you have to pay for that. So please keep it up Ebuyer. Thank you. ...
